Problem
The operator was launching in a brand new legal state and needed to drive installs and first-time deposits quickly. Live sports broadcasts carry advertising restrictions on betting brands, particularly during NCAA content. That blocks reach against the audience most likely to download a sportsbook app.
Solution
Taiv ran the operator’s spots at sports bars and restaurants throughout the launch state during November and December. The flight played against live sports content. Reveal Mobile ran an incremental lift study with a 14-day attribution window measuring installs, sign-ups, and first-time deposits.
Results
Exposed users were 1,700% more likely to convert than the matched control. First-time deposits lifted 225%, sign-ups 320%, and installs 131%, all at high confidence. The campaign’s top launch market hit 800% lift.
Reveal Mobile measured the campaign at 98.9% confidence. That is more than a 6x beat against the 16.7% category benchmark for in-venue OOH. Goal-level lift held across installs, sign-ups, and first-time deposits, which isolates Taiv’s contribution from the rest of the operator’s launch media mix.
